MOTD: Awards Night Event

I did a very simple, effortless makeup for my dad's Awards Night because I find that sometimes simplicity still looks good in a way and I hate having think make-up on so, ya.. I had no false lashes on too neither do I did any fancy or smokey or neutral eyes.

The only thing I did was highlight my brow bone, contour & highlight my nose and cheeks and that's it! For makeup products used on my face, kindly read below. Thank you for reading!

Everyday Neutral Smokey Eyes (Old Blog)

Hello!

Don't mind the other eye without having any eyeshadow on because I only did on one eye for this. If you want to know how I did this look then please continue reading. Thank you!

The palette I used to do this look is my Urban Decay Naked Palette. It has very neutral colors and best for doing neutral or that dark black smokey eye. Since this look can go well with all skin tones and is also wearable, I've decided to do this look on an everyday basis. Something like "Everyday Neutral Smokey Eyes".

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First, I applied Half Baked on all over my lid. Then I took Buck on my outer crease and create a C-shaped outer corner. Blend it well with the lid color and apply more Buck as you blend. To emphasize more on the outer corners, I then applied Creep and line it on my crease and blend it with Buck to make the shadows look more blended and not harsh. Apply more Creep if you wish your outer corner to be more enhanced. I did this thrice and blend everything together. Lastly, I highlighted my brow bone using Virgin.

That's it girls! Hope this blog post helps and comment below if you have any questions. Feel free to share this look or even try it out. You don't have to use colors from the Urban Decay Naked Palette. Any shadows will do as long as they are neutral colors.

NYX Matte Lipstick - MLS02 Shocking Pink

This is just an old blog I posted on my previous blog website. :D

I AM OBSESSED with dark/bright lipstick. Hehe.. It adds color to a plain canvas. On my face, Laneige Snow BB Cream and NYX Matte lipstick. This lipstick is a shocking pink color and is matte but I always like to apply it sheer so I applied my lip balm first followed by the lipstick. I will just re-apply the lipstick when needed.

Urban Decay Electric Palette Review

So here it is! The latest palette from Urban Decay. First and for most, I do not own this product neither is this product available online or at any Sephora stores yet. This product will only be available online on 18th March.

The purpose of me posting this blog is to share what I think about the new palette since Urban Decay has always been about Naked palettes and that it is very popular among us. I too love the Naked Palette. But I really can't wait to get a hold on this babies because they have so many gorgeous super bright shades.

Gonzo, Slowburn, Savage, Chaos and Thrash are matte colors but they are not true matte because they have some pearl in them. The rest of the shades are metallic and I must say. The colors are super super bright that you can play around with different colors on your eyes.

The pictures are credits to xsparkage. You can google more about this product if you find that I do not give any sufficient information. In the meantime, let's wait for this palette to be available here in Sephora! ;)
